Dev Minotra is a postdoctoral fellow at the Cognitive Engineering Center in the School of Aerospace Engineering. He joined in October, 2016 and is involved in two interdisciplinary research projects that integrate perspectives from cognitive engineering. One project focuses on examining issues in the design of in-cockpit landing systems in rotorcraft. This is an interdisciplinary effort in the School of Aerospace Engineering involving three principal investigators, and it aims at improving the efficacy of Navy operations involving rotorcraft. Dev's second project is in the space situation awareness (SA) area. Applying Dempster-Shafer Theory, the project aims at providing decision support tools to assist human decision making in space surveillance problems that involve uncertain, ambiguous, and incomplete information.

Dev Minotra earned his PhD from The Pennsylvania State University in 2012, and prior to his appointment here at Georgia Tech, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Waterloo.
